Great resource for quality hard to find products

The 4-wire conversion pack was fantastic in my LED conversion on my wife's Suzuki GZ250. After riding behind here one day around dusk, I notice how poorly the OEM tail light visibility was. So I converted her rear turnsignals into a conbination RUNNING LIGHT - Brake Light - and turn signal with the help of the 4-wire conversion pack. The simple but effective diagram provide was a great help in wiring everthing up correctly.

I am in the middle of a conversion project on my wife's suzuki GZ250. I am replacing the current 2 lead (1156) rear turn signal with a three lead (1157) housing. I have an 2" round LED with 1157 connection, it has RED outer ring and Red center. I am trying to make the rear turn signal into RUN/TURN/STOP. I just came across your "4-WIRE CONVERSION PACK" and think this may be the solution I need. Please give my you thoughts on weather this will work or if there is another solution I should be looking at. I wish I had seen your amber/red LEDs prior to this project, I might have preferred them to have Amber for run and turn with Red for Brake, I may use them when I do this conversion on my Valkyrie. Thank you for your help,

Hi Tom, our 4-wire conversion pack is designed ONLY to work with the 1.85" Round LED clusters that we produce. Using them on other devices will likely not work as intended, as the size of the current limiting resistor must be sized specific to each application. Furthermore, I don't believe you will have enough separation between the inner and outer rings to achieve run, brake and turn effectively. Instead, you should consider using our advanced Run-Brake-Turn controller to operate the rear lamps. You can power BOTH the inner and outer rings simultaneously with our RTB controller, and let it control the brightness and operation effectively. Why couldn’t I just run one of these upstream to power both brake/run functions on each turn signal? In other words, one of these to run two clusters.

Hi Nick, thank you for your interest in our products! The 4-Wire Conversion Pack is designed to operate only one cluster. Running two clusters from one pack would cause the running light to be dimmer than normal on both. Also, when turning and one side is alternating between red and yellow, the other side will fluctuate in brightness as a result of the shared current path if you were to operate through one conversion pack. So the running light on the opposite side you are turning would vary in brightness in the same tempo as the turn signals.
