Overview

The Blinker Genie for Motorcycles has been a huge success, but was not ideal for use on automobiles.  We have now designed this Blinker Genie specifically for Automobiles called the Blinker Genie 2.

The Blinker Genie 2 - for Automobiles - is designed to allow single filament light bulbs, and single intensity LED lamps, to function as both running lights AND blinkers - at full brightness!

Properly connect any two-wire incandescent or LED lamp(s) to the Custom LED Blinker Genie 2, and your lamps will now function as both running lights and turn signals!

Each Blinker Genie 2 controls up to 2A (25 Watts) worth of indicator lamps in the recommended configuration.  This ensures our product will work for a wide variety of situations and indicator lamp types. 

The Custom LED Blinker Genie 2 is designed to be as small as possible while being as versatile and robust as possible.  The finished dimensions of the unit will measure less than 0.7" x 2.5" X 0.25", and it is water resistant for reliable operation.

Operation: 

  • Running Lights OFF: The Blinker Genie 2 will pass voltage from the turn signal input to blink the connected lamps on.  The lamps will remain off if the blinker is not engaged. 
  • Running Lights ON: The Blinker Genie 2 will pass voltage from the running light input to power the lamps as running lights, and will blink the lamps off anytime there is voltage on the turn signal input. 

This way, in any input scenario, the functions of run and turn are achieved.

The Blinker Genie 2 has 7" wire leads, all required electrical connectors and detailed installation instructions.
