Overview

The Custom LED Blaster-X Integrated LED Tail Lights are the finest tail lights on the market, and the 2018-2021 Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX & Ninja H2 SX SE is just one of many motorcycle models that we produce tail lights for.

This is a Retrofit Kit, which is a circuit board which must be installed into the OEM tail light according to the instructions that come with the unit, and can be downloaded in the installation section of this page. We do not make a complete tail light with lens for the 2018-2021 Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX & Ninja H2 SX SE.

Since the OEM tail light lens has a dark red tint, we can only use red LEDs in this particular case. The red tint is basically a filter that would filter out any amber light passing through it. For this reason, we have developed a unique operational software routine to achieve run brake and turn extremely effectively while using only red light. Please watch the videos in the "Videos" tab to see this product in operation. In the USA, red is a perfectly acceptable color for run, brake and turn signaling in the rear of vehicles. However, outside of the United States please check with your traffic laws to see if red turn signals are acceptable on your roadways.

Love it but…..

I love the light now that it’s done and in. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is I bought the toggle switch to program it and I’ve read the instructions at least a dozen times and I can’t get it to program.

Kawasaki Versys 1000 Blaster X

Installed the H2 Taillight in my 2020 Versys 1000. Same taillight as the H2. Needed to splice turn signal wires because they are different. Works great, very bright, Love it!

SAVE YOUR SKIN

Hey guys , been using CUSTOM LED for many years ,I did the research and found their lights to be much brighter than others out there. CUSTOM LED'S light are also programmable, so i put my rear on "STROBE" so my brake light quickly flashes before going to a hard lite light and draws the attention of other road users ,it makes them look at you ,so you are much safer both in darkness and daytime running, Put simply CUSTOM LED are number 1 if you want safety . Thanks for a cool product .

Hi Fred, as indicated in the "Installation" tab on the product page: "The Custom LED 2018-2021 Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX & Ninja H2 SX SE Integrated LED Tail Light retrofit kit is designed to be electrically compatible with the turn signal and brake light systems as-is. You will not have any fast-blink rates, or error messages, when removing the factory turn signals and installing this integrated tail light in the rear." There is no flasher relay that can be replaced on the H2 SX/SE, the product must be designed for compatibility, as ours is. Best Regards, Jon Owner - Custom LED

Hi, Nice Board & Video. Really appreciate you supporting the H2. However, I would have liked to see the Factory Reflector retained, for a more finished look. Seeing a raw circuit board, through the lens, looks odd, to me. Could the Factory Reflector be retained? (I assume it interfered with the Integrated Turn Signals?) Perhaps if you added Multi Color/Brightness LEDs it could work? Perhaps just the side perimeter LED would operate for turn signaling? Maybey it could be a programming choice?

Hello EB, thank you for your interest in our products! If we retained the factory reflector, we would be limited to the number of LEDs that the factory tail light has. This would be a huge reduction in performance, as our retrofit kit has many more LEDs, and also has Yellow LEDs to support turn signal function. Since the Red and Yellow LEDs are discrete separate LEDs, it would further make using the OEM reflector problematic, as some of the reflector LED positions would have to be populated by Yellow LEDs thus making those areas dark for running light function. Multi-color LEDs as you suggest are not nearly as bright as the LEDs that we use. Our 5mm LEDs have the larges possible DIE material on each frame. Multi color 5mm LEDs have much smaller DIE material as they need to fit two different materials in the same frame - thus they are much much dimmer. I think the circuit board looks awesome inside of the tail light lens! We have seen a lot of OEM tail lights where the LEDs and circuit boards are visible through the lens, and they do not look any different or better. I suppose it's personal choice, but keep in mind you would not really see the details of the circuit board unless you are looking directly into the tail light when it's off. Hello. Once fender is removed and this is installed. Where do i mount the license plate? Do u have a recommendation a product? I have an 18 h2 sx se

i tried this 2 ways... If you disassemble the stock piece the plate mount can be bolted on to two of the fender mount holes under the passenger seat by drilling two holes in the plate mount. It worked wonderfully. I finally settled on https://www.ebay.com/itm/273855573276 as a mount. its's clean cheap and effective!

You can either reinstall the OEM license plate bracket and just remove the blinkers, or you can get an aftermarket 'tail tidy' holder. If you want something more 'official', Yoshimura makes one for $1xx. I got this one off of ebay and I'm very pleased with it: https://www.ebay.com/itm/352602704252
