Overview

This is an integrated LED tail light retrofit for the 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 Suzuki Boulevard M50 with built in yellow turn signals. All the internals of the stock tail light are replaced with a Custom LED circuit board containing 32 Ultra Bright Red LEDs and 32 Ultra Bright Yellow LEDs - compared to only 12 red LEDs on the stock circuit board.

Just as on the other Custom LED models, the system is designed so that the red LEDs turn off (on one side) when the yellow comes on so that the turn indication is a pure yellow light. The unit automatically flashes between the red and yellow on the side you're turning! The Yellow LEDs are slightly offset as well, creating a dramatic attention grabbing effect.

Better than I thought

Came with everything you need and was a lot easier to install than expected. Even for an amateur installing it in his parents garage haha. Looks great too. Nice and bright

Great Mod - fairly easy installation

This was a great cosmetic mod for my Suzuki M 50 Boulevard. It eliminated the need for those funky rear turn signals. The most difficult part of the installation is drawing off the old lens cover, once that’s done pretty much easy Peezy. Once I removed the rear turn signal’s I went to my local auto parts store and got black plastic body pins and hot glued them into the holes where the signals used to be. Looks GREAT!

Great Product

The new integrated LED tail light retrofit kit really improved the brightness and visibility of the brake light on my Boulevard M50. It's a quality product, easily installed and fit perfectly. The service and shipment by CustomLED was superb. It's definitely a valuable upgrade to any bike.

Great LED Lighting Upgrade for M50

My kids broke the plastic base where the stock rear turn signals connected to and I had to find a good way to fix it, as simply ordering replacement turn signals wasn't an option. This Custom LED integrated tail light was perfect; it was easy for me to do, but I'm very experienced and have a full tool shop to work with. The only aspect of this install for beginners that may be difficult would be the removal of the lens with a Dremel. Once that is done, it's an easy job. The instruction sheet was very well done and extremely easy to follow. A few helpful tips: Use MEK or MC to permanently bond (chemical bond) the Acrylic lens back together then fill gaps with hot glue.

Hello Kevin, thank you for your 5-Star review! Nice job in getting this retrofit kit installed! One thing we should note is that we only recommend hot-glue for re-installing the lens. I just did the install and while testing I found that both turn signals work fine, the foot brake works fine but the hand brake only works correctly with light application of the hand lever. If I pull the lever fully then no brake light. What could be the issue?

Hi Matthew, Certainly, the issue is with the lever itself. Sounds like the brake switch inside the lever has gone bad. This can not possibly be related to the tail light, as the tail light has only one brake circuit input which is shared for the front and rear. If the tail light behaves differently when engaging the rear brake compared to the front brake, then it's the brake switch itself. Regards, Jon Owner - Custom LED

Hello Deanne, thank you for your interest in our products! If you remove any of the OEM factory turn signal lamps, your blinkers will blink faster than stock as this is the designed response of the OEM flasher relay when it detects a light bulb is "burned out." The OEM flasher relay may also stop blinking entirely in cases where the load on the system drops too low for it to function.

The correct solution to blink speed issues, is to replace the OEM flasher relay with our compatible ELFR relay which will solve the problem front and rear, once an for all.
