The Custom LED 2015-2017 Yamaha Stryker Blaster-X Integrated LED Tail Light was designed to function as a direct replacement for the OEM tail light.  The unit will install with exactly the same fit and electrical connectors as the OEM unit.  No cutting, splicing, or bodywork modifications are required, what so ever.

Additional hardware may be necessary if you wish to remove the OEM fender assembly and/or modify the bodywork on your motorcycle.  The fender assembly typically supports the license plate, and OEM blinker lamps.  On some models, removal of this fender assembly leaves gaps or unfinished sections of the bodywork under the tail section.  Keep in mind, our product is a direct replacement for the OEM tail light, and does not require any additional modifications.

We have worked very hard to make our 2015-2017 Yamaha Stryker Blaster-X Integrated LED Tail Light completely compatible with the OEM turn signal system.  That means our tail light will not cause bulb-out fast blink rates, and the integrated turn signals will work perfectly with the OEM Blinker Control Unit (see Note below).

Installation of this product requires that you remove the OEM tail light from the motorcycle, and install this unit in its place.  Please consult a qualified technician or your repair manual for the proper procedure to remove the OEM tail light.

2nd Generation Programming Interface Supplemental Brake Alert Programming Guide.

Note: The 2015-2017 Yamaha Stryker has a Flasher Control Unit that is designed to work specifically with the OEM LED turn signals.  We have designed the Blaster-X tail light integrated turn signal function to work properly with the OEM Flasher Control Unit on the motorcycle.  However, our tail light can not be used in conjunction with the OEM turn signals (or any other aftermarket signals) on the rear as this will cause a fault mode in the Flasher Control Unit.  You can either run the OEM turn signals in the rear (or any other compatible aftermarket signals), and use our Blaster-X tail light as a run/brake light only, OR you can run our tail light as run/brake and integrated turn signals, with no other auxiliary turn signals on the rear.
