Overview

The Custom LED 1.85" Universal Round LED Clusters feature 18 ultra bright running light LEDs in your color of choice, and 16 ultra bright turn/brake LEDs in either red or yellow. The LEDs and ColorChange Technology is tightly packed on the PCB for the tightest power density possible. The total thickness from the top of the LEDs to the bottom of the circuit board is only ~0.45". These LED clusters are amazingly bright!

With a simple three-wire configuration, the clusters have a Run input (primary LEDs on), a Turn or Brake input (secondary LEDs on), and a common ground. The on-board ColorChange technology will automatically shut-off the Primary LEDs anytime that the Secondary LEDs come on. This way there is no color-mixing, and the turn or brake indication is a pure color and distinguishable.

Example: a White primary/Yellow secondary setup would be bright white for running light, and would alternate between white and yellow when a turn signal is on.

For Run, Brake AND Turn function, add our 4-wire Conversion Packs, and now you have Run (dim primary), Brake (bright primary), and Turns (bright secondary). You would want to choose the RED PRIMARY/YELLOW SECONDARY configuration for this setup.

Wow! These are bright…had me seeing spots when I test wired them. They look so good I’m going to order new clear lens covers. No way I am going to put these in the crusty and foggy lens covers I have now.

Custom Tail Light Perfection

Watching and following HeroRR on YouTube led me to CustomLED.com. I had to start from scratch because I had new farings and the under tail didn't have holes cut out for the bulbs. After some research and trial and error I was able to source some great, thick 2" round lenses on Amazon, and the LED clusters and wiring i needed to finish the job from CustomLED. I feel safer with bright lights thanks to CustomLED and HeroRR.

Thank you for your interest in our custom design services. Please allow me to use this prewritten response in order to save time. As you can imagine, we receive many requests for custom tail lights because of our domain name. At Custom LED, we specialize in motorcycle signaling equipment, however we do also produce custom made LED circuit boards for clients. We can design and manufacture any size/shape printed circuit board you want. What we need from you is a sketch showing the size of the board(s) and the functions and colors of the LEDs you require. We do not manufacture plastics in low volume, nor do we get involved with retrofitting existing housings to accept the flat, rigid circuit boards. This is something you will have to out-source to a custom fabrication shop, or to do yourself. Please provide some detailed information as to the size, shape and function(s) of the boards you require so we can provide you with additional information. Typically, two LED tail light circuit boards with run, brake and turns will run in the $400 range with design, manufacture and assembly. Best Regards, Jon Owner - Custom LED

What it the thickness of these clusters? My tail light lens is tapered at the bottom which may interfere with the bottom row of LEDs.

Hello Jose, thank you for your interest in our products. The clusters are approximately 0.45" thick from the bottom of the solder joints on the underside of the PCB to the top of the LEDs on the opposite side of the PCB.

Hello Kevin, thank you for your interest in our products! We don't have any 1.25" round clusters in production. We do custom work for our customers, but it is a bit more expensive because of the design cos absorbed by a small quantity. I would estimate a pair of custom clusters to be in the $300 range.
