hOoLiGrOmZ125 Z125pro

Through an order a Snafu on our part, we received a Grom light. After contacting the company a replacement Z125Pro light was sent immediately. Install was very easy and the light is by far brighter than the competitors. All parts merrier with the Z125pro without any issues. We have purchased a total of 3 lights so far for our stable of Grom/Z125pro and are looking to purchase a fourth to round out the last of the four bikes. We highly recommend the blasterX and enjoy showing the strobe mode as much as possible.

Hello Darius, Thank you for your honest review of our product. I can only assume you are looking for detailed instructions as to how to remove the OEM tail light, as the operational instructions of our tail light are quite comprehensive. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide step-by-step instructions as to how to remove the OEM tail light from your motorcycle - as this is covered in detail in the factory repair manual. Installation of our product is the exact same procedure in reverse. If anyone has any questions or difficulty during installation of one of our products, they are more than welcome to call our customer support which is available even after normal business hours. Does the light need a relay will it hurt the bike? I bought a relay but it keeps popping my fuse on my 2016 ZX6R 636 so I took it off.

Hello William, thank you for contacting us regarding your installation. If you do not replace the flasher relay on your motorcycle, your turn signals will blink fast if you remove any of the OEM turn signals. The reasons why are covered on our FAQ on our website. It sounds like you may have purchased another manufacturers flasher relay. I say that because it would not be possible for our ELFR-1 to blow a fuse as it does not utilize a ground connection at the factory relay connector. There are two possibilities: 1) the flasher relay you purchased is faulty and is causing a short to ground. 2) you have a short circuit (intermittent or not) on the turn signal circuit somewhere. If the fuse is blowing as soon as you plug in the relay, then most likely the problem is the relay itself. Best Regards, Jon Owner - Custom LED

What do the black, yellow and blue wires on the main connector correspond to? I'm modifying my 2009 model with this 2013 light and would like to splice this onto the existing 2009 wiring harness. Thanks.

Hello Vincent, on all of our Blaster-X Tail Lights, the wire colors are as follows: Blue = Run +12V (must have power at all times during tail light operation, other inputs will not respond unless blue has power first) Black = Ground Yellow = Brake +12V Jon Owner - Custom LED

Do I still need a flasher relay for this tail light. I have LED's all in the front. Does this have adjusters for speed controlling the blinkers?

Hello Kobes, thank you for your interest in our products! The Z125 Pro does not have a discrete flasher relay that can easily be replaced. For this reason, we recommend using our 10 Watt Load Equalizers instead for this model. You will find them in the "Recommended Accessories" tab on the tail light product page.

Most of our customers find that when replacing ONLY the rear signals with our tail light, and keeping the front OEM, the blink rate remains the same. Some customers do have the fast-blink rate in this condition. It is due to slight variations from motorcycle to motorcycle that causes this. Generally speaking, you will want to install one 10W Load Equalizer for each and every OEM 10W turn signal bulb that you are removed or replaced.
